Whether you are gay or straight body image can be a very frustrating thing. The fact remains that it is much better to be friends and get into relationships with people who like you for who you are as opposed to how you look. Unfortunately, in all strata of society there is a stigma attached to being overweight which is not right. In the end of the day folks with physical limitations just have to work that much harder to make people see through the physical aspects that they see in order to see the person underneath. In the end of the day once people get to know you and see you for who you are, then it is far better to be around those folks than be around vain people who only want you for your body. The most important thing is that you have to love yourself, and then people will like you. No matter how you look always remember that you are as good as everyone else out there.

Not to digress from the topic at hand, but some people are just naturally big. You might be one of those people, and there is not much you can do about it. However, if you are overweight in relation to your height and body size, then you might want to talk with your physician to discuss weight control options. Beyond physical looks you need to maintain your health, and the last thing you need is to suffer adverse physical problems as a result of your weight.

Basically, no matter how you look you are just like anyone else in a good way.
