This is a very good thread which shows the importance of being careful with your private information. As no one needs any reminding, the internet is like the Wild West with everything being out in the open with very little or no privacy. It is for that reason for those folks who are gay and are not comfortable with other people knowing about it to be careful with their profile and the information that they share online. All it takes is a "Google" search and a dedicated information seeker to dig up information.
With all that being said these are great forums to interact with others, but all I am saying is that everyone should be careful and be wary of anyone who seeks to find out personal or private information unless that person has given you every indication that he/she is legitimate.
