A) Means nothing. A straight heterosexual guy who's just fooling around could have done it for the laughs.
B) Means nothing as well. My friend hugs me all the time and he's straight.

I don't want to seem rude, but your friend seems like the kind that just likes to joke around with the subject. I have a friend like that and he's straight... he does talk about girls a lot. Those things that you mentioned didn't seem like your friend is gay... once again he could be the type that likes to fool around.
