Lately my boyfriend has been telling me that when he is physically active, by either walking or running that he starts coughing up blood, and he says he gets short of breath and light headed.

I'm trying to get him to go to the doctor, but he is kind of stubborn and won't go. I'm really starting to worry.

What could be causing this, and is it really serious, should I drag him to the hospital to get him checked out, or will he be fine? Its really freaking me out.

I don't live near him, so we were talking on the phone when he told me, I do have plans to move closer to him. but yeah, I'm just scared that it's something really serious, and if I can't get him to go to the doctor, I don't know what I'm going to do.

side note: sorry I've been making so many threads asking for advice lately, but at any other forum I'd get seriously flamed for being gay. and yeah, thank you guys for being so cool with everything.
