Here are a few pictures of what was left of my first car. It was a 2001 VW Jetta 1.8t with 98000 miles. A month after I got it me and my best friend were driving to the mall, going 40 miles an hour when we come to a green light. We proceed and all of a sudden my friend screams louder than I thought she cold scream there was a Suburban in the intersection that ran the light. I slam on the brakes and everything seems to be going in slow motion. My car hit the side of her land yacht and I felt the seatbelt tensioner jerk me into the seat and watched as the black hood started to crinkle. Eventually I heard a loud noise like a gunshot and saw the steering wheel and dashboard tear apart as the airbags came out. The seatbelts released us into the airbags and then it was over. The doors opened and that was a good thing as the airbags stink like no other and we got out to see the damage. We were both fine but my car was not. As for the bitch in the suburban she was wearing her seatbelt and ended up fracturing 6 of her ribs. When the police came they looked us over and said we were fine but when the suburban lady refused to go to the ER the police gave her a Breathalyzer, she blew a .20 and it was in the middle of the day. She went to jail for OWI #4 and driving on a revoked license. Jetta 1 Suburban 0. I took these pictures at the salvage yard when me and the friend who was in the car with me went to have a "Memorial Service" for it. I loved that car but my new one is just as good.
