I see quite the contrary! Fashion brings people together, to share intrests and thought and create an 'image' for everyone to enjoy. Surely that doesn't seperate the designers from the suvillians!

Thats a hobby, I stated that. All hobbies bring people together, to some extent, even some of the more fanatic ones such as "Serial Killing" we've all heard about accomplices.

But there comes a time where they should be labeled extremists..

I suppose I mis-wrote that, figuring people would interpret the way I did. "Time" meaning there are people out there who can be labeled extremists, there are quite a few of them out there, and is just as entailing as any religious organization that demands money for satisfactory. In this case its not entirely faith.

It doesn't take away our individuality. People dress in those clothes if they suit them. Eg. Topman. I hate that shop, but obviously everyone else loves it so much they all buy the same clothing. There must be some attraction to the clothing, whether it's genuine love for the item or trying to fit in with everyone else.

I understand part of that, no problem, the Top man part, but thats just like a modern day ritual. However there are a lot of people that give up a lot of their life to become "beautiful" leaving behind what they were. Sometimes its for the better, but their bodies can't handle it (mentally of course). Therefore it is taking away from their individuality. .

Also for your first two statements you are right, however the 8 second thing, changes upon meeting someone, appearance is NOT everything. Though it does play a very important role as I stated. Also I don't like the word "crucial" being used there because there is no context, no situation is occurring. Personally I assumed 'Relationships' I figured that was a fair assumption. And in this category I wouldn't say its Crucial, which leads us to your first statement. You dress to attract, its a sub-conscious thing, good chances are if that person isn't attracted to the way you dress, you didn't want to be with them anyways. It wouldn't have worked out in the long run. And if it is suppose to work then those two people can over-come something as foolish as apparel (in this context)

Last thing, you obviously mis-understood the first point I laid out, and you quoted. I didn't mean sub-consciously because we all know that is evident. If you were to buy a shirt you are attracted to a shirt that you think will suit you, or that you like. I meant it to be more of a conscious thing, being aware that "You can't buy that shirt, even though you like it, because a clothing line doesn't approve of it for this season"
Also mere logic comes into play too for example why would you buy shorts in -20 degree weather, unless it were for some indoor activities.
