I'm interested to know how different each story could be.

to make my long story short I came out to my parents on there anniversary for throwing gay bashing jokes about gay peole while I was going to the A.I.D.S walk Colordo.

To my friends I came out in various ways.

well, i came out first to my girlfriend's sister... obviously, we aren't dating anymore... you can imagine why. besides the fact that she was a skank. and then it just kind of went from there...

except with my dad... i only came out to him because of custodial stuff... i wanted my mom to have custody of me because she's a lesbian and i feel better about the way i'll grow up there and what-not... so i just had to explain to him what was going on inside my head... he's still in denial... but i told him, so my job is done.

Ummm pretty much, to my friends I told the one friend who I knew if I lost i could live without LMAO, and I knew she'd tell the rest of them....so yeah it went from there.

My mom, I had my best friend(x-gf by the way XD) text my mom from a swim meet telling her.....i was way to scared.......

Well I first came out to some girl online who I knew I would never meet in real life and she didn't talk to any of my personal friends... so that was pretty much just a way of letting someone know. But then the greatest thing ever happened to me, I came out to this gorgeous junior girl who I had become friends with the beginning of my freshman year (last year), and she came out to me, and she hadn't come out to anybody else either. Now that girl is my best friend :]. At first we were both saying we were bi, but we eventually realized we never really had anything for the opposite sex so we obviously don't consider ourselves bi anymore. She now has a gorgeous girlfriend, and I am sooo happy for her. I am on the hunt (bahaha xP) for someone, and I hope that with whoever I find, we will make atleast half as cute of a couple as my best friend and her girlfriend :].

Well that's the end of the story about my best friend. About a year later I officially came out to my mother, she pretty much already knew but she kept asking me, but I hadn't quite felt comfortable with it yet. My mothers boyfriend doesn't know, but this is only because he is extremely homophobic, and my mother has advised me not to tell him. I don't really care what he thinks because he is the most redneck, air head, blah no need to rant about how stupid and uglyyyy he is... bottom line me and my mother deserve better but unfortunately she's on disability so we have limited funds so we have no choice but to be stuck with him pretty much... ANYWAYS getting off topic of what this whole thread is about. Pretty much everyone but my mothers bf knows that I'm gay, all of my friends know, everyone at school knows, anyone who looks at my myspace knows haha.

I was saying I was bi to everyone for like ever. Me and my best friend pretending to be dating so my dad wouldnt get pissed and beat the shit out of me. But then finall i got a boyfriend my 2nd EVER boyfriend. my dad over heard me on the phone finding out im truely gay he beat me and then i moved out and was living with my best guy friend david. I'm pretty much engaged to a wonderful boy named Sam Stier.

i just started telling people that i was bi in 8th grade, then in 9th i was telling people that i was gay and no body cared.
it might be because i live in a town thats 25% gay i dont know.

ok i am emberrased about this but i came out to my parents at TARGET lol i know , i wish i had a better coming out story. i actually counted that day she asked me if i was gay 26 times so finally i just said yes. she didnt talk to me for a day or two, best two days ever lol

Well I came out to my best friend first and that was hard. We were parked in my car and I had wanted to tell her for so long but just couldn't and I started crying and told her. She said that she could see it from space and hugged me and said we needed to go to the mall, I also do know that the crying was kinda silly. As far as my parents I wrote my mom a letter and set it by her keys and left to go for a drive. Ten minutes after I left she called me on my mobile and told me she was ok with it. Everyone has taken it well so far even in my conservative little town.

I might as well make my first post a sharing post
Well me and my friend are in a hottub at this girls house and everyone else is passed out and we were talking about stuff in general and this is how it went-
friend- 'so man, why do I never see you talking to the girls man?'
me- 'uhhh I dunno I don't like any of them'
friend- 'oh well I guess that makes sense'
me after about two minutes of silence- 'Man I feel like a looser'
friend- 'whys that?'
me- 'cause youve been my homie for like 7 years, since elementary and I cant even work up the courage to tell you something'
friend- 'ha, what are you trying to say, youre gay?'(in the joking way)
and I just shrugged my shoulders and said yeah.

About a month later when college break happened he told my other best buddy and his girlfriend and I guess their reaction was 'Nick... our nick? like in new york? are you sure?' and they wouldnt believe it until i said it myself.
