ok, i'm 14 and gay, and i have only told a few of my close friends that i'm gay. I have this female-friend(amber), who doesn't know i'm gay. She and I and a bunch of friends were all jsut talkin, and one of her friends told me that amber likes me. Amber heard this, and for the past few days things have been awkward. we haven't really talked to each other much. I don't want to hurt her by giving her false hope. I was thinking about telling her and a bunch of other female-friends all at once, but now i think i have to tell her soon. I don't know if i should bring up the fact that she likes me when I come out to her. Plz help! i only have a few oppurtunities to be alone with her, so I REALY need help SOON! thx, bye!

huhh well i think you should just tell her and pretend you know nothing about her liking you... maybe then she will realize that its obviously never going to work. but you defiantly should tell her

just tell her that ur gay
worrying about hurting her feelings isn't going to help either way by not telling her and giving her false hopes is only going to make things harder when you finally do tell her be honest it usually seems to be easier that way |

It seems that she's rather embarrassed by the fact that you know of her feelings... as such, I'm of the opinion that you should refrain from mentioning her affections while coming out to her. If she herself brings it up, then by all means; but, otherwise... just follow her lead. If she truly 'likes' you as much as she does, then I'm sure you'll both be laughing about this little turn of events in the not-so-distant future.
