my parents hate gays... my mom always makes fun of them when we see gay couples... it makes me sad cause i want to tell her, but i don't want her to be sad or mad. my dad just hates me in general, and he hates "faggots" more than anything.

my grandfather is the person i don't want to hurt the most by telling him, he's been with me my whole life, since i was born and he lives with us...

i'm afraid to get kicked out the most though

All I can say is that I really, really pity you. It's horrible to keep secrets that big, but necessary to have somewhere to live. If I were you I'd tell them the day I was going off to college, or whenever I'm independent of them. That would be the worst thing ever to get kicked out of your own house. Good luck with life, and I hope things change in the future.

I actually think since my mom and dad are getting divorced now, I'll be able to tell her. She's been telling me she loves me more, and what not... So I think after the divorce is finalized I'll tell her.

but, i when i told my parents, they were trying to cure me...

but after about three years, and a lot of therapy for all of us, my mom is more or less ok with it, but i can still see the shame i bring to my father's eyes

what hurts the most is my dad is the only person to ever call me a faggot.

i haven't really forgiven him for that.

*Sighs* that is the thing im afraid of is family. Im the eldest Son well its just me,mom dad and my little sister 11yrs old.

If I tell them now Im scared they will kick me out and I have no where to go, I have millions of friends but Im not close enough to any of them to stay at their house and live there and what not. I love my family with all my heart,my aunts,uncles cousins ect. we all get along and they all get along with me some of them describe me as angel from heaven! and i dont want anything to change I dont want everyone treating me diffrently... once I tell them im interested in men everything will fall apart!
