I'm gay!

Okay everybody, this is a really huge step for me- After years in denial and months of not knowing whether I'm bi or gay, I've decided that I'm gay!

Although I still feel attracted to girls with looks, I have no sexual attraction to them and could never see myself being together with one.
Now, this is a HUGE step for me cuz I've always felt insecure and embarassed about my attraction to guys, but now I'm perfectly fine with it, I accept who I am, and I've decided that I'm gay and damn proud of it!
However, I'm not too sure about coming out yet. I have a cousin who I'm really close to and I believe she'll accept me cuz another one of my cousins has come out to her. Hell, she may even be excited that I am, but I just am so confused on what to do. I want her to be the first one I tell so I want to tell her, but then I don't want to

Whenever I think about telling her or think about what to say to her if I do tell her, I get butterflies in my stomach and feel all queasy. Wat do I do from here?

Well congratulations! I think telling your cousin would be your best bet, sounds like she knows how to handle it if your other cousin came out to her. I would wait a while though, to make sure that you really are gay and not just bi.

I know, I've thought about that but as I said, I could never see myself with a girl and am definitely never gonna be attracted to them sexually, so how could I be bi?

congrats! But remember you don't have to tell her ASAP, but i cn understand wanting to. I rele want ppl to know before school starts on mon. How often do u see her? Are you friends and hang out or is it just when ur families come together?

I see her pretty much everyday. I live right next to her- literally- we're neighbors lol

I was in the same boat not too long ago. I even came out to a cousin of mine, relatively first.

I asked her to go out to lunch with me and told her I needed to tell her something really important. So basically, I trapped myself with her. Then; it's kind of lame. But I just wrote it down. Beats saying it if you're at all nervous like I was.

well, im glad it turned out good! Maybe I'll give that a try for the cousin that I wanna tell

Yea, I could tell her anything. She already knows another secret of mine that the rest of my family doesn't know so......yea lol

lmao- that would definitely be the way to do it! I already have the hot sunglasses and a coffee cafe that's like 5 blocks away so all I need is that perfume! Then everyone would be like "WTF!?!" and I wouldn't have to tell anyone cuz then they'd pretty much figure it out. Definitely an easy way to tell everyone without having to say anything.

what i did probbably isnt the best idea, on teh day i decided to come out to the world, i told EVERYBODY, i had my mind made up that if i was gonna tell one person, i was gonna tell everyone,,

it worked out for me, but if i could do it again, i would go way slower with it,,,

but yea, my female cousin was like, one of the first to know, its probbably easier to go family first =]]

i would agree with telling your closest friends first, then your family, then everyone else. and don't get too upset if people don't take it well at first, cos they usually come around after a while, especially family.

yea, a frappe is a kind of coffee drink

btw- yea, I'm definitely going to take it slow with this and am counting on telling my cousin before the end of summer- I'm just waiting on the "right" moment to tell her anything cuz otherwise I'd feel it'd be too random lol
