Well I was all excited when they announced the new iPhone... but when you look at the prices... Well it broke my desire of getting one...

Here's the scoop...
Yes it is cheaper, by a lot however ATT makes up for it in monthly charges because unlike paying $60 a month for the first iPhone.. it is now $70 a month..

SO the other phone was $399 and if you took that and multiplied by 24 (amount of months in a contract) the old iPhone would be $1839.... for the new iPhone ($10 more a month) at $200 less the amount would be: $2095

That is a lot to pay for a phone... and Well I have a touch.... WAY more economical... especially when I have phone service for $10 a month....

i paid $160 for my blackberry curve, and its $50 a month for each blackberry,, sure its less than iphone, but still mighty expensive

Um, I'm assuming the minimum contract is similar to the UK minimum contract. the UK minimum contract is about $70 and has something like 500 minutes and 750 texts with unlimited internet access. Yes it is expensive, but if you actually look at what you get for it, it's actually quite cheap.

american contracts dont really have minimums

except for the length of time,, at least one year

and they dont come with internet, and to add it is hella expensive

I used to have a 30gb iPod Video/Classic, but it broke so i traded it in for an 8gb iPod Nano. Smaller, but I didn't have that much crap anyways.

8 gb ipod nano...yah not that exciting, but it's like my bestest buddy and I use it everyday lol
