i do believe its safe to say

pc's suck, sure switching to a mac would mean re learning how to use a computer, butttt, once you learned a mac,,, its amazing

i want one soo bad,, luckily my xp home desktop that i built has been running good for almost a year now, but when it breaks down again, im not even gonna worry about reviving it again, im gonna chunk it, and buy a macbook,,

all i really do on a comuter,, is myspace/gtf/and a little video stuff, so mac software issues wont bother me a bit,

i also had vista for a while, its a NIGHTMARE, i hate microsoft for making it, its horrible,, and not to mention there are 4 different versions, with different features for each one, whilst mac has leopard, ONE version, with ALL the features,, makes ya wonder huh, just how CHEAP microsoft really is

I have the second generation of the G5 PowerPC iMac.

I'm running 10.4 Tiger and probably won't upgrade to Leopard (or the mysterious soon-to-be Snow Leopard) until I get a new machine. I'm running a 1.8 GHz G5 with only 768MB memory, so I don't think my computer could handle all of what Leopard has to offer.

i grew up using a PC, but i converted to Mac when they came out with Vista... ugh, i hated it! i always crashed and my iPod wouldn't work!

so, i finally got a MacBook a few months ago, and i love it.

and i don't really care too much about compatibility issues or games not working, because i mostly use the computer for school and recording, and Mac has some of the best recording software

Did you know what you were doing in Vista? My Vista laptop (over a year old now) BSOD'd for the first time a couple weeks ago. It typically goes 80~90 days without a reboot. My iPod has never had a problem with it.

I also have a Macbook, but it's booted into Vista 99% of the time (yay Bootcamp!)

I use Macs, no matter what. I've had it with handling the freaking viruses that come up on PCs, and well, Macs are just made for me. About the games for Macs, you can get pretty much all the same games you can get for Windows for Macs also.

I use both. But I've noticed I have a much better time handling a Mac than I do a PC. Last year, my PC crashed about 6 times. I upgraded to Vista and switched back to XP within days. My little crappy iMac G3 (yes, i know old. im getting a MacBook very very soon =]) runs Mac OS 9.2.2 and I havent had any problems, except envy for people with OS X =p.

To switch over to a mac, here are my demands:
Show me one in a decent price range that has a right-click and an actual mouse(none of that screwed up crap, a laser mouse(cordless) that runs on battery's, that you can move actually fast with).

You do that, I am a happy camper.

As Alyosha said to me once, "Macs are like girls.". Eww...
But my demand still follows.
I can always work with a PC, I do not do anything to get virus's. I am a good boy
There are no reasons for them on my computer. What is worse, though, is the virus checkers that NEVER work.
That goes for them all though.

You'd change operating systems over a mouse?

On a side note, come see the Logitech laser mouse on my Macbook .. if you would like your demands to be met.

MAC OS9?? How can you live? lol.... Doesn't the internet always freeze up for you, and you can't access pages like Yahoo.com, because the browser is to old, and unsupported....???
(Ohh, and for you mac haters.... the problem I am talking about is Microsoft's fault, because I am mainly talking about Internet Explorer which Microsoft discontinued support for in 2001, which means that Mac OS 9 users are left in the dark when it comes to the internet. Thanks Microsoft.)

i grew up with pc, i could never live with mac mainly because there are no games on it and i play alot on my pc, and i never had to get my pc repaired like some of you say here it hasn't crashed for like 4 months now, and viruses.. i have no problem at all with them if there's a BIG problem i just use norton ghost (something like a time machine on mac)to restore to previous point and it's all fine, btw i run xp media center

Yes. Although I do like my PC(I dont get virus's), it is a pain. It is outdated and I cant play my favorite online-game any more they upgraded the graphics and I do not have the correct card thing. It would be a more easy to get a new computer then to update.

But does it have a right click?

Aaronptrck: No one can get legit. support anywhere any more... unless you have a techie for a slave... or at least for me. Verizon support is one that drives me nuts..
