Romney supports gay rights. However he is the only candidate who will balance the budget and get rid of government waste. In all honest a president is going to have no real affect on the gay agenda in either way.

Please explain why Ron Paul and Dennis K are anything alike? One advocates for pure socialism and the other pure capitalism. The only thing they agree on is the war.

I see the war as the most important issue right now, so in that aspect a vote for either of them would satisfy me. If you read the hyperlink included in the original post you'll understand.

You really think its a smart idea to just totally withdraw are troops from Iraq tomorrow and allow Iraq to go in total chaos?

However how anyone can support the welfare state and almost total communism is pretty insensible to me as well so I doubt there is any hope

Iraq is in total chaos because our occupation has subverted the country into civil war. Withdrawing all troops is the only sensible option. Besides, we are going bankrupt funding the war.

It's really too bad Joe Biden didn't have much support. He would have had my vote.

It's a goddamn shame Gravel won't get elected. I guess Obama is the least sucky of the mainstream candidates now.

I think bombs going off every fucking day and hundreds of thousands of innocents dying is chaos enough. I can't imagine it much worse.

There's a huge difference between mixed market welfare, socialism, and communism too.

Where are you getting the idea that Iraq is a communist country/in total communism, if that's what you're implying? Just wondering.

Most likely Obama if I could vote.

our country is ready for someone other thana white man and I'd rather not have Hillary win.

he's also got his head on straight(metaphorically) and most likely will lead our country in the right dirction(Not East).

wow this thread is really old

I think Barack is going to win, but I want Hillary. I think she would be the best President and she would end the war in Iraq. I think she'd be the best President for gays too, Barack seems to have too many weirdo religious buddies who would shit on him if he tried to give gays more rights.

obama, clinton, and mccain all said they opposed gay marriage which is such bull ... how about we have a gay president and make opposite-sex marriage illegal

mccain is completely against gay marriage and civil unions, obama is personally against gay marriage and for civil unions, but he said that he isn't going to push any law that bans gay marriage, because those are his personal views and not necessarily right for the country. he's also said that he supports civil unions because he doesn't believe marriage should be controlled by the government at all, he thinks that the government should only give out civil unions and that marriage should be left to religion.

i think he's being pretty fair about it, even though i would rather he support gay marriage... but we can't always get what we want.

and i don't support hillary no matter her stance on gay marriage because it was during the clinton administration that Don't Ask Don't Tell was pushed through. it doesn't matter what she says now, she's already shown her opinion on the matter, at least that's how i see it.
