ok, is it just me or is it that too many people are just pretending to be gay or bi just because they think its rebellious and its the cool thing to do? i mean, at my school, there are a bunch of girls who claim to be bi, just because they think its cool. i also hate people who pretend to be bi and make out with other guys and stuff to get girls' attention, its retarded. then there are my favorite people, who say things like, "oh, i saw my friend naked, so i must be gay or bi" or, "once i had a dream about somebody of the same sex, so i must be gay". JUST BECAUSE SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPENED DOESN'T MAKE YOU GAY, ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY FEELINGS FOR THE SAME SEX!!! Then there are people who do it for just attention. they come out to all of their friends just to be the center of attention for a while. and then, they don't even act gay or bi, they act like they always did. ok, i really needed to vent, because i've been thinking about this for a while. i mean, when i came out to my friends to be gay, they didn't even care, because it happens so much now, especially with people who decide they are gay or bi, then the next month they're straight again. i mean, i'm glad it isn't seen as so bad anymore, but it's ridiculous that it's only normal because of posers. i don't even feel like being gay is much of a deal anymore because so many people claim to be now. also, i hate the people who pretend just to get sex and blow jobs all the time. so is it just me, or does this anger anybody else?

sorry i don't mean to piss you off at all, I guess i can see what you are saying, but it isn't contributed to what they think is cool, they are probably confused. And the fact that it is now accepted amongst the majority of schools and such.. make it more welcoming for them, even anything us "Really gay people, who act the part and all the shit" must be fricken jealous.. cause they came out . . .

well, i kno a few ppl who go to my school, and sum i work with who just pretend cause they think its cool to do. idk y, but it really really annoys me. im basically just saying things ive heard ppl around me saying and talking about. it kinda annoys me quite a bit

I agree...I've noticed a lot of people I have met bluntly say they are homosexual or bisexual, and it's just a front...Everyone wants attention, and now that being gay/bi is more acceptable people use it for attention...
There's a difference between being attracted to the same sex, and being comfortable with the same sex...

Not to be mean or rude at all, Im usually a nice guy.. but it just seems you wanted attention when you came out and stuff.
BUTTT... I see what you mean about people that 'pretend' to be gay.. It probably is really annoying.. Ive never experienced it.. cause being gay where I live isnt that common. In my whole highschool there was 1 person who was gay.. and he graduated last year.. Im 100% positive there is more.. even in my grade but they havent come out... yet : P (like me) : P
OHH! plus, i know no one that has claimed to be gay and wasnt.. where i live.. people would never do that.. its too hard for people that are actually gay to come out.

ok god dammit quit trying to define who i am. normally i don't care about what people say about sexuality but now i'm getting annoyed because you're saying that if a gay/bi person doesn't act like a flamboyant queen that they are a poser and that when people come out that they should change who they are, and then someone said that bisexuality doesn't exist.

i'm the same person today that i was a year ago before i came out to anyone, and i act straight. it's not like i'm hiding anything, it's just how i act and how i'm comfortable. i like videogames, i like playing sports, i like fighting, i like working out, i like rock music, and i like drinking. just because i told someone i like guys as well as girls doesn't mean that i'm secretly a fairy princess, it means i like guys as well as girls and that's it.

and bisexuality exists just like homosexuality and heterosexuality exists. the problem is that people consider bisexuality to be half-and-half, when it's not at all. i'll flat out tell anyone who asks that i'm bi, and i like guys more than girls. but just because i lean more to one side doesn't make me gay, and it doesn't make me less straight, it just means i'm somewhere in the spectrum and in my opinion, if you're not at the extremes of the spectrum, you're bi.

don't define my sexuality and i won't rant. sorry bout that.

i've been researching sexuality, and have been taking a course on it.

actually, many theories point out to an innate bisexuality in most mammalian species (including humans) and that they just prefer one sex over the other, and would not be totally opposed to a homosexual encounter.

fear of homosexuality is all based on United State's culture, and you will find homosexual encounters occurring between both men and women who claim to be straight.
