Prom Queen!

well, prom season is coming quick (mine is this saturday!!!) and i was wondering, has anyone out there been crowned Prom Queen?

in the fall, i tried to persuade my friends in ASB to put my name on the ballot for Homecoming Queen instead of King, which i was nominated for. but they didn't, but it's ok, because i got very close to being on Homecoming Court!

well, this time, the election is held at the dance, and it's all up to the students going to prom to vote, no ASB nominations! SOOOO... i have been trying to rally my troops, all my fag hags and guy friends, to vote for me for Prom Queen!

and, even if i don't get it, i still have a backup tiara just for me, GHS' real Prom Queen

you know, I find your posts really insulting. We're gay, we're not women. If we were women, but liked men that would take away from the whole same sex idea.

wow, you guys don't know your entomology and slang, QUEEN has been used since the 70's to mean queers, gays, and transvestites/drag queens.

like the band, Queen, with Freddy Mercury that flaming frontman? come to think of it, that may be where the use of the word came from

We know the slang mate -, take a second and re-read what YOU posted.
You wanted to be voted for homecoming QUEEN - not the gay thing.

You can get the "King" position and still be a flamer.

yes, but you're a boy. i think what Adrastus was saying is that you can be a "queen" and still be crowned king.

if you're a "queen" then you aren't a girl. your a boy who is a flaming homosexual. i dont think its a very funny joke or play on words because it promotes the image that gays are less of men than heteros.

the definition of a queen is a female sovereign. Right now, you can't be a queen. It'd be like if you got a job delivering milk and called yourself the milkwoman
