right then, i know i can't be the only one with this problems, but i am sick of going into gay bars and finding old men there, (when i say old i mean 30+) and then they try to flirt and buy you drinks and what not. and its like eww im ike 17 guys, dont you think 13 years age difference is really quite wrong

anyways thats just one in my area, but oh well, drag bars are funnier,

I would agree that 13 years is too big a age difference, but you can't really blame an old guy for hitting on you at a bar, thats what you do at a bar! ..... you have to be 19 to get into bars in Canada.

yeah, i can see how that can be disgusting. As someone said, you have to be 19 to get into gay bars, well. bars in general. Also there are no gay bars where i live, nor clubs, just a few bars in the downtown area.. so that kinda sucks in a way.

oh well, in time ahaha, im sure i'll experience the gay bar life.

yea, in America you have to be 21 to get in bars, w/ an ID that says u are, so unfortunately I've never been in one. That might be a good thing though!

I keep meanin to go to canal street in manc but never have anyone to go with except lesbian mates, and frankly they can be annoying, not because there lesbians, its just these ones, you know, apparently pink in blackpool is a very good drag bar

Yeah, well don't get me wrong, most of the gay bars are absolutely amazing with young 18-35 year old lads there. But if you go outside there's almost flocks of gay old men just being pervy. Not nice at all.

Yeah, I have a lesbian mate who I go with, but we have different styles of bar and tastes, so end up splitting. She's more hardcore and mental, so shes always in Cruz 101. Where as i'm the more tacky over camped up gay lad, so I stick to Hollywood Showbar and View.

13 is TOO young to go to a gay bar, well Canal Street definately. It's a place where you have to be absolutely mature. Even if you've understood your gay for a few years, it's still hard to handle.

I only started going a few months back, and it was a lot to take in for me when I first went. I'd at least wait until your 16, and then test it out. Trust me, you wouldn't be able tpo handle the attention you'd get.
