Well, dragon to help your case out a bit. If were on the computer continously, the light emitted from your screen actually messes with the Pineal Gland - which secretes melatonin. Melatonin is the chemical in your brain which controls your biological clock, in this case your sleep patterns. There are times where i know for a fact i could go to be really early, cause im really tired, but if i sit in front of the computer, that feeling now goes away.

Also, my sleeping patterns are also screwed up majorly, for other reasons. Stress, depression, being overly happy/excited, angry.. etc, all affect our sleeping patterns

Try reading a book rather then watching TV/Computer etc, or listening to some quiet music. It should keep you entertained enough until you can fall asleep : )

Oh god, my sleeping patterns are teribble, I can go three days without sleep, but then other times I won't be able to keep my head up while I'm having a cup of tea.

But I am a "party boy" so it's expected. It's a horibble toll to pay.

I'm the same way! Last friday I went to Disneyland with an hour and 56 minutes sleep.

Once it becomes a habit it gets less unbearable.

It is also to not have any caffeine throughout the entire day. It pretty much drains me of any energy when I do that, but I'm much more relaxed and fall asleep really easily.

My sleeping patterns are random as f***.
I always have afternoon blackouts[I'm not exactly sure if that counts as sleep] after I come home from school where I'm knocked out for half an hour, and then I can't really remember much things after I come to. I hardly sleep at night but then I feel perfectly fine afterwards. I hate daytimes sometimes I really do..
