Is It Truly Possilbe To Have Gay Friends???

Ok so here is my little dilemma! My boyfriend is really new to Alberta, and well I've lived in Edmonton for only a year and a half... we are struggeling as hell to find another gay couple to do couple things with.

I do not like to be fit into "catagorys" as people like to assume most gay men fit into, but is it even possilbe to have gay friends and not have the drama, BS and other crap that goes along with it?????

I guess my main question is does anyone on here have any advice or pearls of wisdom maybe that they would be more then happy to share with me please!

I think that happens in all close friendship, you get involved in their problems and dramas ... I would agree that gays have more than their share of dramas.
i don't know how you make friends, ive never gone to a party or group and said 'I'm going to make a friend', it just happens on its own. My advice sucks, sorry.

it's not just gay couples that have drama and BS and other crap, keep in mind

All kinda of couples go through that.

all you really can do is help the best possible ,, while still staying out of it

historically ,, gay guys and lesbians dont get along very well

LOL myself and Lesbians don't get along, but I do have one as a friend but technically I don't consider them lesbians because the one is getting the operation to be a man
