birth order and sexuality

i was reading this article on wikipedia about how the number of older brothers you have increases the likelihood that you will turn out gay. it kinda makes sense, but i don't really understand the specifics. and it doesnt really apply to me cos I dont have an older brother, I have an older sister. but i do have a younger brother, maybe I'll make him gay?

anyway i was wondering how many people on here have older brothers?

I have an older brother .. and I'm gay (yay!).

My ex (also gay) has an older brother, who ironically is gay.

And I doubt that you can "make" your brother gay. I'm still a strong believer that sexuality is determined at birth, but realized during puberty.

Yes I originally heard this on 60 Minutes a couple years ago.... it's an interesting concept.... but I have my doubts on it....

34 year-old sister. straight I think. Lives in Canada.

32 year-old sister. straight
30 year-old deceased older brother.

and then 15 years behind is me!

I read a theory that the amounts of testosterone vs. estrogen that a fetus gets exposed to while still in the mother could potentially affect the sexuality of the child.

If that is accepted as true then it could be possible that as a woman has more boys they get progressively exposed to less testosterone. But that's all just speculation.

i have a younger brother, and im pretty much 102% gay
