I think a mobile client would be pretty sweet for GTF.

I'm usually on my iPod Touch, and I plan in getting an iPhone...

GTF displays, but you have to do all this annoying zooming and scrolling... It just should be bare bones like the new Myspace App for the iPod

Is this at all possible?

Itd probably take a lot of coding.
As cool as it would be, i think the admins
would deem it unnecessary because the forum isnt
extremely active, or at least not compared to others
that ive been on.

Id love to see GTF go mobile, merely to expand their horizons,
but i doubt its really going to be worth all the trouble to
get it done and working.

Not really. vB has plenty of templates for this already .. it's just a matter of installing and maintaining them.

Ah, well i had no idea that vB actually
had that sort of thing premade and ready.

Well, i guess im all for it then.
Not that i would use it because it would
run up a hefty phone bill, but itd be nice
to see GTF expand itself.
Perhaps it would pull in more users =]

Believe me.... having a iPod Touch and using GTF, is SO much better than using another mobile device.... Cause imagine how hard getting to all the different links would be if you couldn't use your finger to tap the link you want.... *Blackberry*

i have a blackberry
net is quite annoying, although it is 10x better than the crappy phones with actual push navigation buttons, trackballs are sooo much better

but touch beats it all, in the end

This is what GTF looks like without zooming in on the ipod touch

Without doing any zooming... I can read the page just fine.... but scrolling to specific page can be a bit tricky at times.
