Vocal Trance gives me a chubby. I usually listen to the VT channel on di.fm all day at work (unless I have a headache .. then it's off to xmradio.com )

i don't really like calling it techno... i prefer calling it electronica.

but i like almost all of it, upbeat stuff, club stuff, dance stuff, even ambiance...

my favorite electronica groups: Blaqk Audio, Aphex Twin, Yelle, Daft Punk, Apoptygma Berzerk, Depeche Mode, and VNV Nation

I'm into the whole sorta sound itself, Techno and Electronica (Yes there is a difference) Dance/House and ambience, my faves though are Justice; Plaid; Daft Punk; Berzek; Depeche Mode

Crystal Castles has to be the dirtyest electro band ever. Their gigs are to die for though.

If you don't like the hardcore stuff like CC, then try Ultraviolet (search on myspace), they make actual music.

what about that music that artist sample old video games?

the first people that come to mind are (it gonna end up a sad smiley... but they're called "parentheses open bracket, although, i don't think they're that great), GirlJoy, and Pixle8.

anyone like that electronica? and what's the genre's name anyway?

easy. HORSE the band (check out songs named "Birdo" and "Cutsman" especially), Superfun Yeah Yeah Rocketship, and Math the band. check 'em all out on myspace.

Oh! And that song 99 Lives by Love You To Death is a good example of this genre too

I've heard HORSE the band described as "Nintendocore" music, lol.
