On the 'users online' section, mine and Plastic's name have a plus next to it. Is there a reason for this. I can think of some, but they would not be 'proper' to state on here.

I don't know what a buddy list is, but it sounds like a plausible explanation. I was going to say +rep, but we can't do it.
