Has anyone ever checked out GayTeenForum - Powered by vBulletin (yes, same name as this, but without the S at the end)?

It's fucking racist.

If you look at the threads there, especially the ones in the "Wasteland" Forum, you will see some racist stuff.

Like here, people can post pics of themselves there.

But if a black person does it, they get insulted and have racist things said to them like "Leave now. Your kind is not wanted here."

It makes me feel horrible. I mean, I am not black, I am white, but it just extremely offends me.

But I shouldn't let that bother me, it's an online forum (although similar to this one, which I like being part of).

Yes, I joined this group a long while ago, but after being on it for a few days, I discovered that there were MANY more people there, and I didn't get the same enjoyment out of it as I did this group.... And in terms of the racism, it should not be permitted at all! I am white also, and I am glad there is no racial topics on this forum

I agree. It's ridiculous. Even the staff there are taking part in it. And look, the guy ridiculed there got banned, and I don't even want to know why...

Racism is so stupid. Discrimination in general is. They should know by being gay how it feels to be discriminated against.

I personally, am attracted to mostly white men, as is he, but that gives him no right to be racist. If he is predisposed to not find the guy attractive because of his race, he should not be commenting at all. His comment really has no meaning if, no matter how the person looked, he would not be attracted to him.

I felt really bad for the OP there. Like, you saw that at first he didn't think anything that bad was going on but when the race issue came up, then it did.

I felt the same way, brother.

I wanted to register and say "What the hell is with you guys?". But I didn't bother to.

Another thing that pisses me off is not only the racism there, but other members, like the staff of all people, telling the OP to leave! He should join here. We treat everyone equal.

Racism and homophobia are two of the worst things I can think of. Me myself, I am attracted mostly to guys not my race, and I see no reason in hell to treat anyone any different.

There is no reason to be racist.

There is no reason to be homophobic (besides seeing it as "unnatural", but whatever).

It all pisses me off.

Yea, I was really surprised that the mod was saying it too. You would think more mature people would become mods.

The thing with the argument about homosexuality being unnatural is that, the people saying it aren't Amish or anything, they use computer, TV, eat food with unnatural preservatives in it, go to the doctors, if they had an illness I'm sure they'd use medication, etc, a bunch of other unnatural things. There really is no good argument that homophobic people can make against gays, since all of them can be rebutted with things they don't know how to argue back. They'll give up and won't accept that they have no good arguments because they are so close-minded.

And I agree. That forum pisses me off. I saw an asian kid post there, and he got some really rude comments. If they aren't going to say anything nice, don't post at all.

I'm not sure what the two letters are an abbreviation for, but I believe the OP is the thread starter, who in this case was the person I was talking about. So no I don't think it has anything to do with race. lol

it is ridiculous, because as a group we are already discriminated against... so what gives us the right to discriminate anyone else?

i hear a lot of that around here though, because most of the gays i know are Mexican, and Mexicans hate African Americans... which i think is stupid anyway...

You are all posting valid points, and plus rep to whoever I can, but i'm sorry to say racism will never be gone. Not for one moment.

As long as there's a minority in the world, there will be a group of people who are against that minority. No matter how much we begin to accept black, gay, jewish people, we will always have that boundary.

Think about it, most of us are white, if you joined a school, first day, and you saw two crowds, one of white people, and one of black people, who would you approach? White. It's not a racist thing, it's your comfort in yourself that your'e with people who are like you, so think theyr'e more likely to get along with you.

But GayTeenForum is a dumping ground for retards who only have the vocab to be a twat. Don't even bother there.
