I find it rather bland compared to the Stage Version. You should go see that. Not a bad movie though, it had its good points, one of them wasn't John Travolta. BLEH.

OMG I adore this movie! Oh and I do listen to the soundtrack regularly. I loved Nikki Blonsky and John Travolta, they really did Tracy and Edna very well. I was astounded by Queen Latifah's songs.....oh and the fact that Zac Efron is in this film may also give me a reason to love it..........lol And he can really sing, he's much better vocally in Hairspray than in HSM....I hope he does more films like this, he really is a good actor!

Anywho....back to listening to Good Morning Baltimore for....what....the 116th time? hehe

Aww how sweet of you Yeah Big, Blonde, and Beautiful is sort of a theme song for me too (regardless of my brunette status).....

People in this world need to realize that you don't have to have a perfect body to be beautiful, I'm all for having everyone at a healthy weight but sometimes people take it too far and I wish the world would wake up and see what true beauty is....

the movie was great, but the stage show was so much better... you have to see that to say you truly LOVE hairspray because you will fall in love with it even more
