Default Any Ideas?!

yea, so, any ideas on finding a boyfriend. cause like, i live in such an isolated community, way in the suburbs of massachusetts. very isolated, and unaccepting to anything different (especially being gay). so, here i hav no chance of finding any guys, or at least those who r open bout it...ugh, like if i lived in boston it would be so much easier. any ideas of how to find a good guy?

Run away to boston? that's always good.

umm, yeah, myspace and places like this are probably your best bet, otherwise you'll have to wait till you can move out of that suburb shit hole. if your parents know you're gay, why not asking them if they can take you to a pride festival, wherever the closest one may be. Its interesting that you're having such trouble, isnt Massachusetts the first state to legalize gay marriage???

boston has a very good gay scene for young guys.

are you out to everyone, or just a few friends? cos the more people you tell you're gay, they'll start matching you up with other gay guys. you'll probably get approached by some 'straight guys' too. so my advice is to tell as many people as you can that you're gay.

Yea, Mass. kinda legalized gay marriage, but the suburbs r so isolated and like racist and shit to anything different, its more the urban areas that are more open...and i was gonna go to a youth pride event last month, but i had my cousins grad. party, but the next one is sometime in october....i think...but whenever it is im goin!

I say go to P-town!

God it was an amazing experience going there. Gays galore! I think I had to be torn away...

oh, well i see how that could be a problem. I really do like Riley's advice though. Straight people think that gays just match together, and they always want to be apart of something that's not theirs, so if you make a couple of friends by chosing the CORRECT people to tell that you're gay, you'll probably get matched up eventually.and he's totally right about the "straight guys". just two weeks ago some guy made a myspace JUST to talk to me about how he's straight and wants to experiment and he chose me as the one he wants to fuck. I of course said no cause i thought it was really creepy, but hey, it happens.

My only problem is, if you live in such a conservative area, its probably best not to spread it around too much unless you know youve got friends and family to help you if you're ever in trouble. there are some twisted people out there and we dont want you getting gay bashed cause you followed our advice. just be careful, kay boy?
